Bletchford Trent Valley was to have been my new 00 gauge home layout but has now been dismantled due to starting a new bigger layout up in the loft. Bletchford got its name from an amalgamation of Bletchley and Stafford as the layout was to be based on both places. The layout was being built in a 8’ x 17’ garage and consisted of a four track main line on the lower level with a terminus station above. Bletchfords impressive power signal box is based on the one at Bletchley but was built as a mirror image to fit the space available on the baseboard. The station buildings were be a rearranged version of Stafford again to fit the area available. Bletchford is being rebuilt as a through station on the new layout but only the signal box will be reused from the old layout.
