Norton East was our first N gauge station building and was built for an RM Web forum member. One of the advantages of N gauge is the amount of space available when designing a layout. Due to the extra platform width available Norton East was built wider than our normal 00 gauge versions making the building look even more impressive. The station was finished in regional railways blue trim and had a frosted glass effect across the windows. One end of the building was finished as a WH Smiths retail unit whilst due to the increased overall width the other end incorporated an enclosed waiting room and an open bike shelter.
