All of our station buildings are based on the prototype station building at Kidsgrove Staffordshire. Like a lot of the local stations on the original WCML electrification scheme Kidsgrove was rebuilt in a more functional style with the windows placed up under the roof eaves. The large overhanging roof provided waiting passengers some limited protection from the weather. The design of the station building is very adaptable and can be split into sections or bays between the roof supports.
All the rebuilt stations featured
florescent lighting. Our model
buildings can have LED lighting fitted as an option with the LED's recessed into the roof so to give the effect of flush fitted florescent lighting.
Here we have a few variations
of the Kidsgrove building in N
& 00 Gauge.
